1. Overview & Core Philosophy: Zero Cloud Transmission

At Soloship Studio (represented by Lead Engineer Hamza Shahid, operating at soloship.store), we firmly believe that your personal finances, income streams, and daily expenditures are strictly private.

Gullak — Money Saver & Budget is engineered as a 100% offline-first application. Unlike conventional budgeting apps that mandate user logins, store credentials on remote databases, or harvest spending patterns for targeted advertising, Gullak performs all calculations and data operations locally on your mobile device.

2. What Data Is Collected & Stored

We collect zero personal financial data on our servers. Here is specifically how data is handled:

• Local Transaction Records: When you record an expense, income entry, category tag, or spending limit, this information is committed strictly to a secure local SQLite database situated in your device's isolated application sandbox.
• No Account Required: Gullak requires no registration, username, email address, password, phone number, or banking credentials to operate.
• No Telemetry or Ad Profiling: We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or user-tracking frameworks within the Gullak mobile binary.

3. Device Permissions & Hardware Access

Gullak adheres to the principle of least privilege in accordance with Google Play Developer Policies:

• Internet Access: Gullak does not transmit financial data across the internet. Network connectivity is neither required nor utilized for budget management.
• Storage / Document Access: If and only when you explicitly request to export your transaction history (via CSV or JSON backup) or restore a previous ledger, the application requests local device document access to save or load that user-selected file.

4. Data Portability & User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because all information is hosted strictly on your personal device:

• Right to Access & Portability: You can export 100% of your records at any time into standard open CSV / JSON formats with a single tap from the Settings menu.
• Right to Deletion: You can wipe all financial history at any moment via the "Reset Database" option in Settings, or by simply clearing the app cache or uninstalling the application. No residual data remains on any external server.

5. Security of Local Storage

Your financial data is safeguarded by Android's native application sandbox architecture. Other applications installed on your device cannot read or modify Gullak's private SQLite database files unless your device has been compromised or rooted.

6. Children’s Privacy

Gullak does not target or knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The application is completely offline and does not harvest any personally identifiable information from any user.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new features that require architectural changes, any updates to this Privacy Policy will be published at this permanent URL (https://gullak.soloship.store/privacy.html) and documented within the application release notes on Google Play.
